All-Hazards Emergency Management Planning


DQE's All-Hazards Planning service assists hospitals in building a functional Emergency Management Program that is understandable, sustainable, and fully incorporates the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS). DQE helps hospitals establish a strong readiness foundation that supports and enhances ongoing planning, training and response activities.

Completion of DQE’s planning process results in the hospital accomplishing the Joint Commission Emergency Management Standards and many of the required National Incident Management System (NIMS) Implementation Activities for Hospitals and Healthcare Systems. The deliverable is a comprehensive Emergency Management Plan as well as a "pull-out" Emergency Operations Plan that may be used during an emergency. A subscription to DQE-On-Demand™ HICS training is included for use by the working group assigned to the project.
